Maximum Penalty: $500 fine
Summary: Client was at the beach with friends, all of whom were at least 21 years old. Client and friends were drinking beer on the beach in clear violation of the posted signage. Client was 20 years old at the time and was summonsed for possession of liquor by a minor. Client admitted to consuming 1/2 a beer.
Result: The District Attorney agreed to file the case for a period of one (1) year with the case to be dismissed at the end of the filing period.
